  • Properly package items to prevent damage during transit
  • Not ship prohibited items including but not limited to: hazardous materials, illegal substances, weapons, perishable goods without proper documentation, and items violating intellectual property rights
  • Pay all applicable fees and charges in a timely manner
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from shipping through our services:

  • Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, toxic, radioactive)
  • Illegal drugs, narcotics, and controlled substances
  • Firearms, ammunition, and weapons
  • Counterfeit goods and pirated materials
  • Cash, currency, and monetary instruments
  • Perishable food items without proper documentation
  • Live animals (except with special arrangements)
  • Human remains or ashes

Ship Swift Express reserves the right to inspect packages and refuse service for any prohibited items. Violation may result in legal action and termination of services.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are provided as guidelines only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors including but not limited to weather, customs clearance, incorrect addresses, or circumstances beyond our control.

Address Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate shipping addresses. Ship Swift Express is not liable for delays or failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Delivery Attempts: We will make reasonable attempts to deliver packages. If delivery cannot be completed, packages may be held at a designated facility for pickup or returned to sender at additional cost.

6. Insurance and Liability

Default Coverage: Basic liability coverage is included with all shipments. Additional insurance can be purchased for items exceeding default coverage limits.

Liability Limits: Ship Swift Express's liability for lost, damaged, or delayed packages is limited to the declared value or actual replacement cost, whichever is lower, up to the maximum coverage amount specified in your shipping agreement.

Exclusions: We are not liable for damages resulting from:

  • Inadequate packaging by the shipper
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, or war
  • Customs delays or seizures
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Inherent vice or nature of the goods
  • Consequential or indirect damages

7. Payment Terms

Fees: Shipping fees, insurance, and additional services are calculated based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and service level selected.

Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods as specified during checkout. Payment must be completed before shipment processing.

Refunds: Refund policies vary by service type and circumstances. Contact our customer service for specific refund inquiries.

8. Claims and Disputes

Filing Claims: Claims for lost, damaged, or delayed packages must be filed within 30 days of shipment date or expected delivery date, whichever is later.

Investigation: All claims are subject to investigation. You may be required to provide documentation including receipts, photos, and proof of value.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or litigation in accordance with applicable laws.
